Cocktail Masterclass with Brugal 1888 at Outpost Kitchen

We were invited to a Cocktail Masterclass Dinner outing at Outpost Kitchen in Maitland, Florida. This was our first visit to Outpost Kitchen, so we were excited to try them out!

When we arrived, we were greeted with a Welcome Cocktail from Brugal 1888 Rum.

Once we were seated, appetizers were served. The appetizer of the night was a Nashville Hot Cauliflower and Crispy Brussel Sprouts duo.

We loved the Nashville Hot Cauliflower, which had a wonderful Cajun flare and crispy texture.

Pork Belly, Polenta, Filet

Our second course was a glazed pork belly, filet, and polenta. The pork belly was extremely tender for how thick it was, and the glazed exterior had the perfect amount of chew to it.

After the main course, we moved to the bar for an interactive cocktail creation.

We were given a variety of fresh fruits, juices, and garnishes as well as all of the tools needed to create our own cocktail with Brugal 1888 Rum! Justin, our instructor and Brugal 1888 Ambassador gave us a background of rum, daiquiris, and the best pairing of sweet and sour flavors to create a cocktail everyone will love!

Our final course was served at the bar as part of the Masterclass portion of the evening. The Banana and Rum Bread Pudding was a perfect way to end the evening!
