My first experience at F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen was at their first location on Curry Ford in the Hourglass District. I am so glad that they have expanded their delicious Italian menu into the Longwood area! The restaurant focuses on a massive Woodfired oven that sits in the center of the kitchen. In addition to pizza, many menu items make their way through the oven for an authentic flavor!

We started our meal with the Beef Carpaccio Appetizer! This dish was so savory it melted in your mouth! The carpaccio is paired with herb aioli, salsa verde, cured egg yolk, arugula, capers, and pangrattato! Definitely a winner!

All of the pasta dishes feature locally owned Trevi Pasta. Freshly made pasta can really elevate a typical pasta dish, and the Cacio E Pepe, pictured above, truly exceeded my expectations! This dish features Trevi fettuccine, Prosciutto, Black Pepper, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Grana Padano.

No Italian meal is complete without tiramisu! This dessert is composed of espresso soaked lady fingers, mascarpone, and cocoa. Such a light and satisfying treat to end the meal!

Thank you to the F&D Longwood team for your menu recommendations and excellent hospitality! Everything was excellent, and we can’t wait to return! Be sure to check them out on 434 in Longwood or on Curry Ford in the Hourglass District!
